Preoperational Exploration
2 – 7 yearsSymbolic thinking emerges. Children begin to understand themselves through play, imagination, and early identity formation. This is where curiosity must be gently honored.
Concrete Operational Understanding
7 – 11 yearsLogical thinking develops. Children begin to process social norms, moral reasoning, and their place in community. Questions about identity and belonging intensify.
Formal Operational Integration
